Jay Lee

7th March

Step into the enchanting world of jazz with the mesmerising melodies of guitarist Jay Lee. He has carved his niche as one of the most in demand players in London, captivating audiences with his soulful interpretations and nimble fretwork. 

His interpretations of music from the Great American Songbook honor the tradition, taking the audience on a journey into timeless tunes that have defined generations. This intimate performance for Soderberg Soho, features Jay Lee alongside a musical companion, creating a duo that resonates with subtle synergy.

 

John Crawford

14th March

IMA nominated musician John Crawford was born in London of English/Spanish Parents. His father played Blues piano, and this is the first thing he learnt to play. His mother would introduce him to Latin music of all kinds, and he has gone on to perform at Montreal Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Getxo Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scotts, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the 606 club, and Royal Albert Hall amongst others. His 2012 release "Ulia River of Time" has been nominated in the USA by the Independent Music Awards for best album in the Jazz category.

 As a jazz pianist he has performed with many jazz artists including the likes of Tony Coe, Tina May, Ola Onabule, Norma Winstone, Alec Dankworth and countless others.

 

Fraser Urquhart

21st March

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Fraser Urquhart is one of the U.K's busiest most swinging pianists, specializing in jazz and American show-tunes of the 1920s-50s. Cutting his teeth on the vibrant Scottish jazz scene, Fraser fast became a first-call rhythm section player for singers and horn players. He debuted his first Quintet in 2017 for Edinburgh Jazz Festival and performs annually at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  Currently based in London, Fraser made his Ronnie Scott's debut in February 2023 and performs weekly at established music venues in and around the city. After his most recent album release of duets with Jazz FM vocalist of the year Georgia Cecile his playing was described by BBC Radio 2's Jamie Cullum as "extremely tasty". Just a handful of the incredible musicians Fraser has worked with include: Georgia Cecile, Allan Harris, Martin Taylor, Roy Williams, Johnathan Stout, Jumaane Smith, Richard Shelton, Evan Christopher, Hetty Kate, Jo Harrop.

 

Linley Weir

28th March

London born Jazz singer/songwriter Linley Weir has sang all over the world from Japan to India, Europe and across the UK. She has performed at some of  London’s most famous Jazz Venues such as Soho’s Pizza Express , Ronnie Scott’s, BullsHead and has a regular spot at the Phesantry in the Kings road , Chelsea.

Linley’s signature contralto voice is sensitive-authentic-soulful and original. Not constrained by traditional genres, Linley’s unique singing will capture the listener through a journey of soul-inspired melodies with original compositions, classic jazz standards and popular songs.
